Mr Nunia realized that there is a critical requirement of IT based technical and management education for the people of this country. He says, mere mastery of academics is not sufficient to prepare students to face the challenging times ahead. One of the major challenges which need to be addressed by educational institutes is the increasing misalignment between the practical needs of the industry and the theoretical output provided by the institutions. Technological awareness and corporate professionalism has to go hand in glove to excel in the industry. It has become essential to keep pace with the changing technology. Education Sector has been one of the prime beneficiaries of this technological change. The pace and ubiquitous delivery of content has offered a powerful tool to education system, in content development and delivery.
In order to offer committed and dedicated opportunities for the growth of education in this country Mr Nunia has set another vision. PREEYA Pariwar is soon launching projects to cover the full spectrum of education, which includes primary schools, secondary schools, engineering colleges and management colleges in and around Jaipur along with a University under a trust called PREEYA Research Initiative for Development in Education (PRIDE). The trust has already acquired 50,000 sq yds of land in Jaipur with an objective to build and launch the Engineering Colleges. This project is likely to be completed by 2011. These engineering colleges will offer world class technical education laced with state of art technology. Our aim is to participate in achieving 100% IT and technical literacy in India and provide affordable job oriented education. The aim is to prepare every PREEYA student employment-worthy and offer opportunity to enhance their skill sets. His desire is to have PREEYA Pariwar’s presence in every nook and corner of this country. |
